Default rear sway bar

My rear sway bar is seperated from the tie bar that connects to the rear suspension, should I spend the money
and upgrade to a perfomance bar? Im in the process of upgrading my suspension and planned on changing the sway
bars in the future but im currently saving for a set of koni yellows to go with my H&R springs , so should i get the
sway bar or, just fix the stock one and get the shocks done??

Get a new aftermarket one, the difference in handling is amazing. The stock bar is VERY weak. you can bend it by hand, a replacement one is like 3 times as thick and very solid. I would say don't waste the money on a new stock setup. Also the aftermarket one does not use the stock body mounting locations so you wont even have to buy new brackets. The ones that come with the new kit are great. I have the Suspension Techniques bars and I really like them.

Good luck~!

P.S. I wouldn't get the set... I don't think it's necessary, the front bar is much larger than the stock one and is not hollow, it still dials in a bit of understeer, I'd rather it be more tail happy than plow happy.

Just my .02

If your are stressed for cash, I will be parting with my stock rear sway bar for mere pennies in the future.

Actually the ST front swaybar is the same size as the stock one, however, it is more rigid than the stock one.

I personally just got the rear ST bar, i couldn't tell a real big difference, but I would def recommend it to anyone

sorry didn't mean larger just meant wider. the distance from end mount to end mount is farther than the stock bar was.

I got mine from http://www.lightningmotorsports.com/

They have them for $130.90 for just the rear bar.
