ZC Tranny Identification (external) quick please

I am sure this has been answered before, and I think I use to know at one time, but How do you identify a ZC L-3 tranny externally.

There is a plate on the side of the housing that says L3? The L3 tranny from the 2G CRX Si that I bought had this and I've seen it on all other Honda trannies as well.
