Default EK JDM 18C5 idle problems

Yes I allready searched and could not find any related problems w/ the JDM B18c5. As some of the post-ees know i changed my oil last week w/ good ole' mobil 1 5w-30, everything went just fine. After taking the car out after the oil change and engaging Vtec once or twice i came back w/ it wanting to idle at 1500rpms for about 10 to 15 seconds, that generally after that it will drop back down to 1k. I am not sure if i may have bumped something while taking off the oilfilter because i just went in from behind the intake manifold to get it w/ my hand. Yes i have checked the oil, and it is fine. The car is still idling like this, but shows no problem doing anything else ie. engaging vtec and etc. Please give me a shout and tell me your ideas.

Thanks

Have you checked your coolant levels and the thermo switch that controls the cold start process?

I have yet to check my coolant, as dumb as that may sound, i didnt even think about that. Where is the thermo switch and what do i do to check that? I'd also like to mention I am still running the stock civic radiator, instead of the integ. one which takes up all that empty space.

Thanks
