I need help diagnosing a problem I have with my 98 civic. I have an engine code p0171-fuel metering too lean. Some of the symptoms of the car are
-sometimes idles high when stopped at lights
-kinda sputters or hesitates when I accelerate, making it seem like it wants to die while driving
-I notice it being sluggish or lags when accelerating
-a more noticeable burning smell from the exhaust
-I recently checked the oil, and the dip stick has a trace of a yellow fluid on it
If anybody has any ideas of what's happening, it would be greatly appreciated.
