Default Sound while acceleraing

Friends

My car ( 95 Accord EX) is having this problem. While travelling at 30-35 mph everything is fine.As soon as i put gas and the car reaches about 40mph i hear a noise just as the engine is feeling some sort of pressure. On pressing the gas pedal more the car slightly shakes and the speed picks up.

Could you please guide on on this.

Thanks

If it weren't for the shudder I would say it's the heat shield on the exhaust, but that shudder sounds like a torque converter issue? I had a Grand Am once and the torque converter blew apart, it was the same feeling you are describing. I plan on never owning an auto again...
