Default Dx and STD whats the diffrence

for a crx what is the diffrence exactly and was both available from 88-91 or was it only one of the 2 every year from 88-91?

in the US from 88 to 91,...

I thought that the Standard was only a Civic Hatch. It had a 4-spd tranny, while the DX had a 5-spd. Also, the STD would have had fewer options/upgrades available.

CRX's came in DX, Hf, and Si. (correct me if I'm wrong)

Really?

I was not aware of that at all.

Was this just for 91 or did all the dx hold the badge of std?

Yet again, Mr. Speaker humbles me with his mass Honda info.

nope. (if you're talking about a crx, because thats what this thread seems to be about).

all 88-91 CRX's were 5spd.

88-91 CIVIC std = 4speed.
