help with skunk 2 intake mani install
ok i installed the skunk 2 on my 97 gsr b18c1 obd2 today, I did not have a place to connect the fuel return line i think is whats called to the new mani... the old port on the stock mani was just behind the throttle body, and it went down to a canister below the battery.. so that is left unhooked... where does this hose go now? or what can i do with it...
second, I had a rev limit kick in at 6700 rpm.. had this prob before but not lately.. till the intake mani install... so after lookin at a civic with a 13 second all motor gsr block, I decided to run my vacuum from the fuel line straight to the intake mani instead of the IACV i think it is (big black POS that mounted under the stock mani. with vacuum lines on it), and I ran my vacuum gauge to the port on the back of the skunk 2.... now I can run clean to 7500 with that hooked up (thats the highest I want to take it until I get my head gasket replaced and valves adjusted)... would this be a bad IACV?? do I need it really... or am I safe without it, the car seems to run smooth, idles at about 400 rpm or so.... help?
I can take pics if someone needs to see anything, just let me know
