I just got done doing the o rings/seals under the rockarms for the spark plugs and i followed the procedure on cb7tuner or whatever anyways after i was done and it started u pgreat, and took it out, my bottom header bolt that conects the header shield to the header was smokin lol.. i never noticed it before.. then again i never open my hood after i just got done driving.. anyways anyone ccan tell me if this normal

 

probably oil or penetrating oil if you used any...

 

I wouldn't be too worried about it, the shield gets quite hot especially if you just finished up driving, I've had mine do it after cleaning my engine a bit.
