Default k series accord

I have seen the Hasport K20 5th Gen Accord, but i was wondering about a K24. My question is hood clearance. Dont the K-series motors stick up higher than the F and H? If this is a repost please delete.

The hasport kit is for the K24, not the K20. The K20 is to small for the 5th gen accord.

while the hasport kit is designed for the k24 (has anyone had word as to wether or not that car is running now?), the k20-R is PLENTY to power a 5th gen....remember, its the same car powering the Integra-R as is powering the Accord Euro-R -and thats a TSX. TSX is certainly heavier than a 5th gen accord.

some people forget that in europe and japan, 5th gen accords came with all kinds of engines...including some odd 1.8L beasts....when people talk about it being stupid to think of putting a smaller displacement motor into an accord, its not cause the car wont neccesarly be faster (case in point, F20b), but that the car wont get faster enough to justify the added cost over an h22

I guess next question is....would it be worth throwing a K24 in to a 4th or 5th gen accord?

i looked around on Hasport's site and i did not find the K-Series mounts for an Accord. Is it just r/d or are they going to pursue it?

Maybe if you called them and asked nicely theyd sell you them for like 800 bucks...
