Rumor has it there's another rule change. You have to have proof of having sex before qualifying in the PRO 4 Class... WTF?

actually, since this sport is labor intensive, so is boxing, grappling etc. and it is a practice of not to have sex before such an event. So, having sex would not be a good practice.

 

I heard you can just masterbate with a 150lb penalty!!!! There is always a way around the rule at NOPI.

Tony, Tony, Tony.....Im not Crying....Im having fun.....

And yes we were building it for Pro GT....until the rules kept changin. I stopped working on it in favor of building it for NHRAs PROFWD. So now im waiting on our gearbox for it.

Besides that im too busy to work on anything thats mine.

Just seemed like a whole lot of bitching in the off season to get the 2 classes, and nobody followed through with what they said...

 

From what i heard from Shep he is way to busy at the shop to race. Car wont be out for a long time.

 

What about Frenchy, is he running NOPI this year? If i remember right, it was him and shep lobbying to leave the class alone or they weren't going to run.

Split a class that had 7 cars in 2? I'm not sure who thought that was a good idea.

 

Tony, leave the class alone as in w/ the new rules/new classes ProGT & Pro4 or they wanted to leave the class alone as in last year's Pro4 rules?

I wonder is Nopi scared everyone into running NHRA because of the off the wall rule changes? Who knows. Some of the things they did were good, others maybe not. Everyone has their opinions.

 

I can't speak on anyone else's behalf but we're not running any Nopi this year since our car is set up for Hot Rod and we're running NHRA, so to run ProGT we'd get our asses handed to us and we're not going to put 26's on the car...

I think Chuck's the one with the advantage in Pro4 and can easily go back and forth between Hot Rod and Pro4 since he's obviously got his car figured out on a 26" tire, he's been running them for how many seasons?

We've never had a 26" tire on this car and don't plan on running one. Plus the payout in that class is way less than what it used to be...

 

No, i mean the new rules for this year. I still believe nopi should have done what nhra did rather than what they did. This thread that it was talked about last year, where are all those that wanted the new rules and classes?

Oh, and for what it's worth, Chuck only has about 5-6 events on 26's. He started out with them and pretty quickly changed to 28's. Just put the 26's back on for Phoenix. You'd be surprised how little change there is in the setup between 26's and 28's.

Ps he did put up what he said he already dropped is E/T to 8.15

 

He was all for splitting the class. I don't understand why he's not running it now?

The thing is, had it not been for frenchy and shep complaining about slowing the class down, it likely would not be like it is today. Instead of 2 empty classes, it would be an almost full class of mid to low 8 sec. cars...

that is wath I trying to say instead of puttig the fast FWD's together they included RWD's

BTW Tony Where are all those car in the P4 class now that the class as been slowed down it was supposed to be a full field

you and other where saying to slow down GM that way all the racers would be back well Nopi slowed the p4 class and only 2 cars showed up

and NHRA slowed down gm and still not more racers

those who are not showing in p4 are the ones that cryed to get gm slowed down

as far as NHRA having more car i dont think so
