iv never seen nor heard a b16 take so well and so quiet.
judging by the black smoke around the possible spool time i still say its boosted.

its hard to say, but it was quiet, and he either chirped into vtec or that was his spool point....

sounds and looks more like N/A with nitrous.

 

was that 1st gear??? if it was i would say that car is SC

 

you can kinda hear the turbo spool if you turn the volume up and listen closely.....

he must be at really low psi to only hit 210 with a turbo

 

i say boosted i can hear it spool when he rips it

 

i dont think its spooling you hear i think its tire spin, and the black smoke is at vtec point which would also be about he same as full boost but id say N/A and with that set up 210 sounds about right

Yeah its hard to make an accurate judgement. A allmotor setup like that is usually very loud once u hit the vtec crossover. In turbo setups the turbo acts like a resonator cutting alot of noise.

 

That's a quiet *** all motor car. If he was boosted he would have been spinning his *** off though. But the way he hit his revlimiter also makes me wonder....

 

I definetly hear some spooling, that car has to be boosted, there's no way he'd be hitting the rev limiter if he were NA

ok i cranked the crap outta the volume and still cant hear this spooling you guys are talking about

and ummm ive hit the rev limiter many times in my stock b16

 

210whp all motor doesnt sound like that. Tends to be loud and obnoxious. Especially if you are talking about making 210whp out of a 1.6L. i'd say greddy turbo kit, low boost.

 

Definately boosted. Small turbo, probably 16G, with catalyst and full exhaust. It's reminiscent of the Greddy kit.

The tire chirp is due to loss of traction while rolling over the crosswalk stripe.

 

i'd say either a simple small boosted setup or nitrous possibly.

Yeah I have to agree, it's impossible to make all motor cars sound quiet. Especially with 2.5" or 3" exhausts, I mean you can't make over 200whp without having an obnoxiously loud exhaust, it's just not possible
