flushing all the coolant out
hey ive got an 88 hf that has been sitting around for a while and the coolant is really nasty. ive drained and flushed the radiator and i am going to replace the hoses, and probably the water pump too. i want to get every little bit of coolant out of the engine. i know there is supposed to be an engine block coolant drain bolt somewhere but im not sure where it is. also, what is the procedure for flushing out the heater core, do i just remove the two hoses and run water through the system? thanks
ps- are autoparts stores replacement water pumps peices of crap or do they work well?

when i use the aftermarket stuff i like to get beck/arnley or a1 cardone,,,
and the there is a fairly large bolt on the block to the left of the exhaust manifold for draining the coolant..

ok ive seen that bolt 19mm i believe, i was hoping that wasnt it because its in such a freaking akward place, almost behind the manifold and catylitic converter(its an hf)
