help - sticking high revs on 92 Accord
When driving, every now-and-then I get the following symptoms:
- I feel that the car shifts a little too high above 2000rpm (2500 to 3000 - are these spec on A/T?)
- Sometimes the idle goes up to some ~1200, stays there and then falls back down(this makes driving very 'nervous' as revs are higher + I have to floor the brake to keep at a stop)
Anyone know why this may be?
FITV and IACV have both been cleaned with carb cleaner.
The revs don't jump... they go up for a while... then go down until the next time.
+ there is a some slack on the throttle cable on the PGM FI side of the TB - how exactly can that be adjusted? Can this be the cause of the above mentioned?
Will greratly appreciate!
