what pipe size will you be using, the main exhaust restriction on the v6's is the "T" pipe (near #27) that merges the exhaust from both headders:

if you custom 2.25" from each stock manifold or go with headders and use a real 2-1 merge collector instead of that crap :

2.25 " primaries and 2.75" or 3" collector and 3" back to one single muffler, (i.e. you can use the 5zigen turbo fireball 3" muffler) and set it up as straight as possable one bend to the side N-1 style, you will be super awesomely majorly cranked

and oh yeah i forgor the cat as well

I'm sorry,
I ment using the pipe just after the CAT.before the Y end peice with the mufflers.
and putting a uni muffler after about a foot behind the CAT using a custon hanger...
(to where if you were looking from behind you would see no exahust..just here a good tone)
I cant figure any better way to explain ... sorry
P.S. where did you get the diagram??

why waste time with something that will give minimal if not no gain, instead of attacking the real culprit?

look at the diagram in the lower left hand corner that pos excuse for a merge pipe that supposedly merges exhaust gases from both banks of the motor look at that design:

one pipe flows straight..

the other flows directly into the pipe wall of the first pipe there is no uniformity in flow and direction of that flow at all infact this type of setup totally destroys flow qualities from the other pipe, working more against each other than together.

that is why you will see some crazy *** gain of 20+ to the wheels with a properly flowing system.

remember you only flow as much as the smallest restriction......
