Just wondering if the stock OEM Honda muffler is the same ?

the hatch mufler is shorter so no it wont fit

I'm lost on what you're saying. However, if you're asking if a muffler from a 96-00 hatchback will fit a 96-00 coupe, no it will not. Like the above poster said, it's too short.
