Just bought one on ebay for my EF, fits perfectly, gasket and blockoff plate for somethin like $18? I know he's got another listed, don't know if the EF blockoff would fit a rex.

Antenna Plate: 39152-594-004 CAP, ROOF SEAL $2.58
Antenna grommet: 39153-SB6-000 WASHER, SEAL CAP $2.38

You will need both. That's from hondapartsdeals.com, and they'll rape you on shipping unless you buy alot of other stuff to justify it. You can exect to pay about $10-$15 from the dealership for those.

By using the block off plate doesn't that hurt your radio signal?

Seeing how you have to take the stock antenna out, yeah, unless you have another that'd fit. Otheriwse it wouldn't matter. I've had 2 CRX's with block off plates and aftermarket antennas.

Not trying to jack the thread but what antennas is everyone going with after taking out the stock one? Or is this a satellite radio or an ipod thing? My stock antenna is sucking big time and I was looking for an aftermarket one rather than possibly getting raped from the dealer.

iPod here (actually a San-disk with radio), I'll be making a small box with a single speaker and amp that I can plug into my cig lighter for longer trips. My car is an autox car with occasional daily duties, so the stereo and speakers are all removed.

I'm about to remove my antenna too and do the block of plate. I never listen to the radio because I don't enjoy some ******* yelling in my ear trying to sell me some ****.
