Ordering rims for my GS-R tonight, which do you guys prefer. I have a 98 Frost White. These first ones are Stern Aguzze S07-Made In Japan, 17" weigh in at only 14 Lbs! I want white BTW. And of course Rota Subzeros, 16"-14.5 lbs.
Anyone w/ pics of either rim on their Teg would be great or just some opinions.

I thought those Aguzze's were only available in 5-lug?

 

I'd say get the others though..... 14 lbs. in 17" is light!

 

I'll definately have to double-check that. The rotas are A LOT cheaper, so I think I'll go with those. Has anyone ever heard of center caps that go over the lugs? Konig Subzeros have them, but they weigh 2 lbs more(the rim itself)

 

IMHO the Konig centercaps look ghey. If you use them, paint over them some color because the fake carbon fiber finish is Also consider getting bronze or gunmetal, it will be a hell of a lot easier to keep looking clean than white wheels.

 

i like the subzeros better personally, white looks sissyish(is that even a word? ). black or gunmetal sub-zeros would look sweet as hell on a white car, im getting 18" subzeros in gunmetal soon for my white accord.

 

i might get some flat black subzeros from another guy...my teg is black with si rims...

should i just keep the si rims? or go for the black subzeros? my once concern is that my car might be TOO black with the tinted windows and all..

 

i say go with the stern's in gold/w silver lip...will look crazy too if your car is slammed...

STERNS. tired of those rota rims. people are playin them out.

 

Im almost 100% certain that the sterns are 5 lug only. If they are available in 4X100, I might be looking into a set, albeit in a smaller size.

 

Yeah the 4x100 are completly gone. I e-mailed Machiii.net to try and get a set and they said all they had left were 5x114.3 But if you do come across a set post where you got them from!!

whatever you do don't get the CP-035 rip offs... the sterns are doper...
