Default turbo to manifold gasket

Home made turbo kit with civic manifold.

should I machine the manifold to mate with the turbo, or just make a copper jasket?

The bottom of the manifold have a metal plate attached via bolt to hold in place, then the turbo mates up to that. Just wondering if the bolt that are in the plate with cause machining problems, and it would be best just to use a copper gasket?

Advice please, as I have to either get it machine or a copper gasket over the next few day's.

Cheers.

but are you using a gasket or just mating the manifold flange and turbo flange with no gasket?
