The guy I am buying my 97 ITR from bought it from the original owner, who owned a shop or distributorship named defcon.one racing or something like that, if you have ever heard of this guy or his buisness, can you guys tell me about it. I just thought he might have been a popular member here and mabey you guys know why he sold the car, and if he had any issues with the car IE he wrecked it or it blew up on him etc. etc.
any help would be appricated.

This message was posted recently on the Type R list... (yahoo groups, formerly egroups, formerly onelist) You could probably contact him directly, or on that list. Judging by his signature, I'm guessing he sold it to get an E46 M3...

The guy that bought my '97 is selling it. If you are
interested, I can foward his email to you. I'm not
positive on milage, but is probably under 50k. He is
in the Detroit area, so Jack's friend's may be a
little closer for you. He's only had the car since
October, '01. It was flawless when I sold it to him
then.

Eclusivity and dealer installed A/C (maybe).

t00 easy:
that was Shane's car. here's his info
Defcon 1 Racing
When I met Shane last year, there was nothing wrong w/ the ITR. He just wanted to upgrade (is this possible?
) to possibly the new M3.
