Default Timing issue! Help!

Ok I have a JDM B16 and it runs like ****!!! Vtec hits so weak and it bogs everytime I shift. So I set my engine to TDC today and took some Pics. Im unsure of the way timing on a b16 should look. But I was told by a good friend of mine that it's off by a tooth and the up signs arent facing the way they should, he said on a b16 they should be facing forward a little bit...PLEASE HELP!!

on my JDM b16 I lined up the lines and the arrows were a little to the left. Seems to be the case with this one as well.

Its out one Tooth. From the pic I would say just move the Ex Cam Counter Clockwise a bit. Should fix your problem. Then check the ignition timing, just to cover all the Basics.

There are notches where I put arrows. Those need to be line up before putting the belt on and the crank has to be lined up also.

the timing may be fine. What u need to do is check the marks also by the gear and the crank pulley and make sure they meet at the mark on the oil pump. they might meet if you spin the crank a tad CCW and the lines at the bottom may meet up. Also check the dizzy timing.

you are off 1 tooth on the exhaust side (IF the crank is at TDC, if its 100% at TDC move the exhaust cam 1 tooth counter clockwise, spin the motor over a few turns and back to TDC, make sure it all lines up.

Well it wasnt DEAD on TDC. Of the 4 marks on the Crank Pulley the first 3 it was on the last one. It had to be on the last one for the UP signs on the cam gears to be both upright. So I guess my timing is then retarded then? Ill line it up DEAD on TDC tomorrow and take more pics but until then whats your opinion on what I just said? and tell me if you need to explain it a lil bit better! :D

SCREW IT ILL PHOTO SHOP AN EXAMPLE

There we go. Those of you who know your **** will know what TDC looks like blah blah. Imagine that Crank Pulley on a B16. and if your lookin at it from over your engine bay...whatever fender where ever it is you look at it from. when I had the UP arrows pointing straight up it was sitting on that 3rd mark the arrow in the picture is pointing to.

no the UP on the gears should be straight up and the notches on the gears should line up, all when the #1 cylinder is at TDC. the 3rd line on the pulley isnt TDC, its the next one all by itself, just incase you didnt know.
