Default '93 Integra Motor (B18A1/YS1) into 1991 Integra LS/GS

Hello,
I have a 1993 Integra RS w/ B18A1/YS1 can I put that motor into a 1991 Integra LS or GS without any modification of any kind? If not what kind of modification(s) would be required?

Thanks,

you have to use the obd0 componets and the driverside engine mount

And the '93 Integra RS has a B18A1 right? Which is OBD-1 right? If so don't I only need an Alternator and a Distributor from the plain old B18A (OBD-0)?

no. you're going backward in obd factor. you will have to splice and solder some of the wires because not all of the plugs will go directly in.

also, the ecu it is using has different connections, so you will need a jumper harness.

although it is the same motor, and it will directly bolt in, it will need some work. i'm wondering why you don't just drive your 93? why put it in an older car?

Well mine has rusted to death, and there was a good deal on a 91 in my area, if I buy a 92-93 they both have B18A1 engines that are OBD1 right? And there should be no modification(s) at all right? Oh BTW I don't know if this matters but I would be going from my '93 RS into a LS, I know the LS had all the goodies, don't know if that will complicate things or not.

Thanks guys,

yes this is the same reason i swaped from my 93 ls to a 91 rs, i converted the 91 to obd1 using everywwireing harness in the car and also converte4d it to power windows.

to get that engine in your car you need the to used the obd0 90-91 harness and the odb0 distributor , injectors, and ecu.also you need to have the 90-91 teg driver side engine mount

does the 91 Ls come with a engine? if so why not just take the Intake manifold and cams out of the 93 rs and you basically have a 92-93 B18a
