vtec not working all wires are connected but check engine light comes on after 2 minutes of driving for vtec solenoid

 

at the top of this page there is a how-to to find out what ecu code you are throwing...once you find that out it will be a lot easier to help.

 

He said the code was for the vtec solenoid, so he's obviously checked it.

 

low oil?

 

possibly low oil actually, eversince i put the new head on the oil has been very light, more than normal, i can hear the valve train almost as if they dont have a thick oil,the color is good and it smells ok but sort of like gas? i have no idea...
