Default TWM itb problem

installed my itb's last night . just ran into a couple problems. the map sensor that goes on the #4 runner, doesnt fit , it looks like it needs a smaller map sensor. just wondering if anyone has ran into this problem? ill go take pics right now and upload them.

I blocked that off with a small piece of aluminum and a homemade gasket, and told the EMS to ignore it.

My MAP sensor gets vac off a golden eagle vac rail. But it looks like you have the latest version of the TWM ITB's with the integrated vac rail.

Looks like you got your questions answered. However I have some advice for you. With the latest generation of TWM ITB's (with integrated vacuum rail) the MAP signal reads the pulses of the cylinder which makes idle and low throttle partials a bitch.

I would recommend tapping the runners and running vac lines to a log of some sort, like the golden eagle unit, this way you can run the MAP off of the log and it will read constant vac.

Also, you might want to consider getting a third helper spring for the throttle linkage to help prevent throttle stick (common occurance on TWM).

The throttle cable isnt the problem. But yeah, I have a bseries throttle cable.

There is nothing u can do with the throttle cable to make it go away. Its the throttles themselves.

You get one from Home Depot or Lowes. lol

I havent done it yet, but the idea is to add a spring that pulls in the opposite direction, so when you let off the throttle, it helps pull them closed.

I'll be doing it one of these upcoming weekends.

I like the pressure ventilation idea you used on the oil filler cap. Where did you get the hardware?

I'm also interested in the breather kit from Z10 but I don;t see a reference to the oil cap mod
