this is on a 94 del sol si with an A6/Z6 mini-me turbo with fmu and all stock electrical/ecu

my p28 was tossing out a code for the CAS, i put a known good dizzy on and it did not fix the problem..

i had a p06 laying around so i threw that in there to see if that would throw the CAS code too.. but it throws the vtec spool solenoid code and NOT the CAS code, does this mean that my P28 could be shot?

shoudl a P06 throw a vtec solenoid code? just confuzzled me lol

i'm going to take a ohmmeter and check out the wiring in the car to make sure that's up to par.. but why would the P06 throw out the vtec solenoid code?

the car goes in and out of limp mode while it's running

 

alright, check the ohm meter readings on both distributors, both are within spec
also got another P28 and that says crank position sensor too

checked the continuity of the wires in the harness, there's no reason that i should be having that sensor issue, all connections are clean and connected, both dizzy's test good for resisitance. the car starts right up but is in limp mode

any ideas?
