I have a 2000 accord coupe EX...I was wondering if anyone had removed the back seat in it (and put it back in)...if anyone has what kind of room there is under there, my plan is to store my capacitor bank under there to save some space in the trunk ( i konw this doesnt make much sense, but every inch i can save in the trunk means more space for my system)...so if anyone has any info on the amount of space under there, or has info on how to take it out that would be awesome. thanks!

 

There isn't any space under the seat. Not enough for a power cap and definately not enough room for it to breathe.
But to take the seat bottom out run your had between the seat back and bottom on the drivers side and you will feel a 10MM bolt, take it out and pull the back of the seat bottom up and release the clips at the front of the cushion. to remove the seat back fold it down and remove the 12mm(i think) bolts on the seat bracket under the carpet on the back
