remove pin from harness under the hood
Hey, I'm trying to remove some pins from the harness under the hood, but I'm having a hard time figuring out how to remove them. I've searched and only came up with how to remove pins from the connector to the ecu only.. I've already removed those, but now i need to remove the one's under the hood.
Generally, to remove pins from electrical connectors, harness, etc., a pin extraction tool is used to to push the pin out. There a different size extraction tools available to match the size of the pins being extracted.
if you are refering to the harness connectors for the engine you have to first remove the white plastic insert . Once that is removed you need a small pick or a pin or even a really small flathead screwdriver to insert into the connector and release the pinfit while pulling out on the wire.
