Default Mugen Bushings

I am currently in the process of replacing all my front bushings in my 94 Civic Si. I replaced all the rear bushings with OEM, and I'm debating on using the Mugen bushings for the front. I've been searching around for awhile now on which Mugen bushings correspond to the OEM part numbers. I know what Honda part numbers the bushings I need are thanks to the search database on hondaautomotiveparts.com. Following is a list of the OEM part number and what I think the corresponding part number on King Motorsports website is.

Front LCA Bushing (2)
OEM - 51392-SR3-024
Mugen - 51392-XG5-S0N0

Damper Fork Bushing (2)
OEM - 51810-SH3-004
Mugen - 51810-XE5-S0N0

Front Compliance Bushing (L)
OEM - 51396-SR0-A02
Mugen - 51391-XG5-S0N0

Front Compliance Bushing (R)
OEM - 51395-SR0-A02
Mugen - 51391-XH3-S0N0

Front Swaybar Bushings (8)
OEM - 51312-SR3-000
Mugen - 52316-XE5-S0N0

Front UCA Bushings (4)
OEM - 51455-SR3-003
Mugen - 51455-XG5-S0N0

The part number that's really confusing me is the compliance bushing. King Motorsports lists one part number yet OEM specifies two separate part numbers. I am also confused as to the quantity of bushings sold in each "set" as labeled on King Motorsport's site. The prices seem to correlate with each set having the required number of bushings, but I'd really like some confirmation. Seeing as many of you have ordered Mugen bushings from King before, I would assume the answers can be readily found here.

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

for the front lower arm and upper, i think these would be better and cheaper overall:

http://www.orijinmotorsports.com/prodegen.html

but, do check the upper ball joint. would make no sense to replace the inner bushnigs and have bad ball joint. you can pick up a new pair of upper arms on ebay for ~$65 plus shipping, then just put the spherical into that.

compliance bushing is that radius-rod like thing. i dunno if there is a spherical for that.

as far as the sway bar bushings are concerned, go with energy poly for the D-bracket bushings and the endlinks. the D bushigns are like $7 and the endlink kit is like $13.

Since I autocross in STS, spherical bearings are a no.

"If the Stock bushing accommodated multi-axis motion via compliance of the component material(s), the replacement bushing may not be changed to accommodate such motion via a change in bushing type, for example to a spherical bearing or similar component involving internal moving parts."

If someone can guarantee me that the Orijin products you suggested would be legal in STS, then I would consider that option.

I'm also replacing the upper arms with Skunk2 adjustable arms, so the ball joint will be replaced then.

Can anyone help me out on the Mugen bushings question?

Just call king that's what I did and told them what I was looking for and they sent me the ones I wanted, sometimes it's easier just to call.

These guys are still selling their kits but, are getting out of the suspension business

http://www.orijinmotorsports.com/prodegen.html

I emailed them about sperical bearings for an EK and that was the answer I got. He also said the EK upper control arm didn't have the same camber problems the Integra/EG ones did.

All Mugen bushings are sold in sets to cover both sides of the car. You were pretty close:

Front LCA Bushing (2)
OEM - 51392-SR3-024
Mugen - 51392-XG5-S0N0

Damper Fork Bushing (2)
OEM - 51810-SH3-004
Mugen - 51810-XE5-S0N0

Front Compliance Bushing (2)
OEM - 51396-SR0-A02
Mugen - 51391-XG5-S0N0

Front Swaybar Bushings (8)
OEM - 51312-SR3-000
Mugen - 52316-XE5-S0N0

Front UCA Bushings (4)
OEM - 51455-SR3-003
Mugen - 51455-XG5-S0N0

I would suggest using poly bushings on the sway bar, they will last longer. The front lower arm, front compliance, and front UCA bushings are key.

</TD></TR></TABLE>

Wouldn't that only apply to the rear trailing arm bushings? I thought that the front LCA bushings that Orijin makes a kit for are only supposed to move on one axis.

Part numbers for OEM ITR Compliance bushings:

51396-ST7-Z01
51395-ST7-Z01

Is the bracket included with these?

A lot of people use Mugen stuff or just factory Honda stuff. Hopefully even "hardrace" can't mess up plain old metal/rubber bushings. But I wouldn't put it past them. Personally, I don't put parts from Taiwan, China, subsaharan Africa, random 3rd world countries etc. on my race car. But that is just me. I understand it is the cool thing to do in Cali. ;-)

Bushings...control arms...space...full of other things going on...and in the way...and forces...bing input where you don't want them...and it's not like you have much choice...I'm tired of this particular headache...

Where do you think those Mugen bushings are made ol wise one.
Your beloved third world countries you speak of.
Do your research and know where your car is really from.
You'll find china comes up in almost every component.
Hardrace on my race car, because it has never failed me.

I was just doing some searching.. I searched hard race and seeing positive review and I also seen where people put it was a cheap low quality bracket that rusted, etc.
