WANTED: Suspension installation help and brake installation help (Michigan)
I thought I would try and save some money and try to learn a thing or two about suspension buy hiring someone/someones to help me install shocks and springs/ and brakes.
I don't want to go to a shop mainly because michigan doesn't have any that doesn't try and screw you over
So i'm looking for people to help me out. Last time my friend stripped the hex on the shock so i'm not going to him anymore
I'll throw in some 12pks also
I'm located around Oakland country Detroit area but willing to drive some ways
Help me out!
also I have a 12" powerbook that I want to try and get rid off, more money=more toys for my car

Depending on wether or not you drive your car in the winter, this can be a bitch of a job dude. I did mine a couple years back when I first got my car (getting my education early at 16) and all the bushings were seized, etc. I had to cut out the old forks, and beat the hell out of the control arms to get the suspension out. So depending on the state of your undercarriage, those salty winters may warrant a trip to the mechanics.
thats what i was also afraid of. although I did do it with a mechanic friend (whom i dont talk to anymore..long story) back in october and most of the bolts were fine.
its also the question of spending 300ish to get it done correctly too
