i was wondering if they made an intake manifold for the d series engine, cause im lookin around, and it seems all of them are made for b series, im just lookin up parts for the hatch i wanna get..... dont wanna put b series ($$) so just a lil more go for the d series, not much, but hey, its something....

 

save your money and just get a turbo for it. don't waste your $$ on parts on a motor that is not going to really respond to them at all.

 

^ ya, an intake manifold on a stock engine won't do you any good for power gains. You'd be better of saving your money for a power adder like turbo/super. You can get a smog legal GReddy kit for the sohc for under 2,000. Thats pretty cheap, if you consider you spend almost 1,000 on bolt ons like i/h/e

ok, thanks for the help! what kinda add ons are availible that'll help get hp up, but withought making it sound like a fartcan.... it already has an exhaust (nice one, no fartcan crap) i dont wanna do a cai because its too loud, what about header??? scince it is a dx (hatch) non vtec, would a header help at all? or would i need to do it as well, (wanna make it vtec, change head,ecu.....) or would i just be better off getting a complete y8 vtec? i dont wanna spend thousands of dolors, so im lookin for something that has a lil go..... thanks!
