Default Help! Auto-Manual 4th Gen.

I have a friend doing an Auto to manual swap on a 4th gen accord and he is having some issues with the passenger side tranny mount lining up. Is there any difference in the 5spd. mount bracket that is actually welded to the car? I am not an accord guy so I cant really help him and I wanted to come to my
H-T homies to get me through it. I have done a lot of searching and came up with little info on the fourth gen. Found an amazing write up on the 5th gen but the mount and mount bracket are different. Thanks for any help guys

Default Re: Help! Auto-Manual 4th Gen. (Hondizzle!)

hate to break it to uoy but it is diffrent the auto bracket sits above the frame rail

there and the manual bracket sits flush with it I no cuz I did this swap on my 4th

gen what I did is I had a friend wit a plasma cutter cut off that bracket and i went

and got the bracket on the front dogbone mount bracket the one on the motor

and had him welded it on for me but make sure that you weld it so that the mount

is flush with the top of the frame but dont go over it hope that helps sorry i dont

have pics but just ask a guy with a manual tranny if you can look under the hood

to peep it out you can get the stock manual brack from honda at least i heard you

can sorry man will try to get you pics but i dont no how to post them on the
