Default Cold Air Induction Kits...

..so what induction kit would you guys recommend. Or prehaps you believe the Honda standard air intake is optimal?

It would be interesting to hear of anyone who has tested the kits available on the rolling road. I'm looking for a kit that will give the best power increase... any advice would be fantastic. I don't mind importing the right kit.

Thanks,

Mike.

Use the SEARCH function before starting a thread, cause it's most likely been discussed PLENTY of times

I did. And after utilizing the quick SEARCH facility, it returned NO results.

It has been discussed numerous times but I will state it again...The AEM V2 intake
(about $275-$300) gives the most power out of all intakes tested...followed closely by the Injen CAI. With any non Individual Thottle Body intake, it would be best to get a euroR accord intake manifold (if you have a h22), in conjunction with the CAI itself, to get the maximum amount of air into the block. If you want the most power possible go with TWM Individual Trottle Bodies.

$275-300 bucks for AEM V2?! Somebody's ripping you a new ***. My boy's V2 for his 5th gen was 209.99.

a pipe is a pipe...but design is what sets it apart from the rest of the pipes
if you want the cheapest way, just get a sheetmetal brake and bend your own intake. hell rip off the v2s dual chamber design you'll be one of the first.

@vteclude1994: i did'nt realize they had come down so much in price or i was just looking in the wrong places. thanks for the correction

cut the guy some slack. he is obviously a noob.

it has been proven that 3" tubing and a decent high velocity stack filter. its around here on H-T somewhere</TD></TR></TABLE>

search all motor for that. A pipe is a pipe tho for intakes.

That's funny because I did a SEARCH and came up with"Your search for intake returned 528 results."

Try again and this time don't be lazy and use ARCHIVED CONTENT.
