Funny story last night we had a group of cars mostly hondas and acuras.. we had an eclipse and a camaro too. And we all decided to leave and go someplace else... someplace where there was food and this happened to be on the other side of town. So we have a big group of cars, I am way in back because I didn't like some of the idiots that were in the group. My boyfriend was up in the middle someplace. So we go past this gas station then all of a sudden in my rear view two cop cars come out of no where... no time to warn any of the people in front of me, I waved to the car next to me to look and thats all I could get. One of the cop cars jets out in front of me and throws on his lights then 3 more cops cars come up and block off the road. They start gathering the cars in the jiffy lube parking lot... they look at me and tell me you can go ahead. I don't know if it was because I was a girl and they didn't think I was with the group or because the Si just looks like a normal civic... not sure. Maybe a combo of both. Basically everyone else got tickets for loud exhaust or distrubing the peace. The two cars in front and the camaro got away... the camaro ran and the idiot that drives it will probably go to jail since he ran and they had his plates.

cliffs- either being a girl or having an si(since it doesn't look like a tuner type car) got me out of a ticket

I think maybe cuz your car is STOCK an has NOTHING done to it... and your were prolly driving by yourself and you probably STILL have the plates from the dealer on, they assumed you were just driving down the streets going somwhere and not with those people

They weren't all ricers... my boyfriend and his friends aren't but the others come around to try to show off and what not.

 

damn you're lucky...Reminds me of a time when I got stopped not too long ago for speeding(83/70) and the cop just looked like he wanted to give me a ticket, so he did the normal license and insurance thing. Well, I handed him my license and had to look around for my insurance, and while I was doing that, he just said, "eh, forget about it, don't worry about your insurance" which was cool, cause I don't have insurance on my Prelude right now. He goes back to his car, and comes back and just writes me a warning, and then just starts talking about my car. Asking what kind of car it is, and then rambles on about how he used to have a Pustang...What makes this story great is that the cop was a State Trooper. I guess my car helped me out that day It just doesn't happen for girls, it also happens for guys

It was probably because your car is 200 HP out of the box so you don't need to make noise to have power.

 

You sound disappointed that you "weren't included" in the ticket fiasco. If you continue to hang with that "group" you should have plenty of oppurtunities to prove you belong.

 

i got pulled over friday for running a red light (woops) light turned yellow i was still pretty far n i didnt gas it or break i just rolled threw lol ....... cop a block behind me hits his lights n pulls me over .......... he asked do you know why i pulled you over i responded with "because i ran that red light back there" ...he said ohh honesty huh some people always try to make up storys blah blah then he said i can go

There is a situation that girls will almost always get tickets in (it happened to me). I was driving the 00 turbo Si and got pulled over. I got ready for my sappy eyed look to give the cop, when it happened: a FEMALE cop!! Yeah, she was brutal to me....

I haven't been pulled over yet in the 06 Si, but I'm sure its inevitable; let's just hope its a male cop this time.... ..

Lol no I was not disappointed... besides our normal group doesn't get in trouble usually we had some tag alongs that are idiots... we were leaving to attempt to ditch them but of course they followed.

 

that was what i loved about my silver accord coupe. you slow down, change a lane to the right, and all of a sudden you're invisible. now a pink teg on the other hand, that is very visible.
