Default Sump Pan Replacement

Is it possible to change out the sump pan with the header in place?

Has anyone done this?

Yeah, it needs to be removed, if you can't get it out of the car you can just unbolt it and move it around while working but it's definitly easier and faster to just take it out.

On my car, the turbo is a PITA to take out. Intake hoses are easy, but oil/water lines for the turbo can be a bitch.

If you're lazy or have issues with your exhaust, you can loosen the bolts and angle it down a few inches. It will likely be easier to just take it off, unless you have some frozen bolts on the exhaust or something.
