Is this in a Civic? Did you mean to post this good news in this forum or were you aiming for some other one and just missed

Congrats, either way

who did the hone work on the cylinders? Were they able to follow the actual Honda procedure, or did you get the block sleeved?

local machineshop, yeah they followed the honda procedure, and i had my friend go there 1st so i could see if they do a good job, and it worked for him. the main reason that most shops fk it up is cause they dont have a machine that can hone at 45-50rpm, most hone at 150, and thats way too fast.

still waiting for tuning, took it for a drive tday, but due to the lightweight flywheel it stalls sometimes when i let off the gas in neutral. tuning should fix that tho.

just got done tuning it, and whoa is it a fun ride. Had some pinging issues at 1st due to a pinhole in the vacume line to the map sensor, fixed that and it was all good from then. timing is only a little higher then stock settings cause im only running 93, i might have to upgrade to methanol injecton for added timing cause im detonating if we add timing any more. other then that its fun, im gonna take it easy on it for the next we days till all the parts are worn in good, and i gtta keep my eyes on a vtec solenoid gasket leak thats VERY slow, ill post some random tuning videos as soon as i can find my cable to hookup the camera. till then, keep checking back once in a while ill b around.

Methanol injection? 12.2 on 93octane isn't that bad. There are numerous people in cali doing it on 91 with a similar CR.

you dont need to advance your timing.. you have enough compression for the low end.. i would suggest maybe retarding your timing a degree or 2

You can ran less timing and make great power. Running less timing and making the same power as you were before (for arguments sake), the motor is more efficient. Adding timing is not always to make power.
