Default brake light warning light staying on

brake light warning light staying on when you start the car and depress the brake pedal any one had this problem?

That means that one of your brake lights aren't working. Have someone press the pedal and figure out which one doesn't work.

im checking the wiring loom for faults as i downloaded the diagrams ill keep you all posted all that peugeot training come in good for something

There is also a fluid level sensor in the brake master cylinder resivoir.

I have had this same problem and i have replace ALL of my bulbs because it pissed me off so much...still no luck though!

i have checked all the globes and have unpluged the level sensor but this made no difference i will ohms check the level sensor next and keep you all up todate

why would you disconnect the sensor? I'm sure thats not going to make the light turn off, add some brake fluid!

the fluid level was allright so no point in topping up the fluid disconnected the sensor as i thought that the sensor may be faulty
