Default Remove power steering?

Would handling be better if i remove power steering on my ITR?

If i removed it, would i get a better performance gain?--> (Not steering wise) it would save me gas i guess but yeah...what are your thoughts people?

In my mind "handling" equates to how well a car turns. I don't see how the removal of PS would improve upon that. I assume you are asking if the removal of the PS will improve steering feel/feedback.

On the road/highway, a non PS equipped ITR feels the same as a PS equipped ITR to me. I wouldn't say it improved steering feedback/feel. At lowspeeds, such as a parking lot, steering feels much heavier. I have never driven an ITR on the track w/o PS steering so I can comment on that.

If you're curious to experience this yourself, simply remove the powersteering belt. It's fairly easy to remove.

I wouldn't imagine it would help MPG really. As far as performance, there are probably minimal gains, 2 maybe 3 HP.
