i have a 93 civic hatch with a 2000 jdm b18c (R) motor. the problem with it is that whenever i cut the car off and back on and go for a drive it will hesitate on me. like, i would get on the gas to go and it will take a sec and then jerk all of a sudden, kind of a hesitation problem. also, it idles funny...by that i mean on a stand still it will go from 1200 RPMs all the way to 1800 RPMs and back and forth. would any one happen to know what my problem is?

 

Sounds like ignition. Check the Distributer might be taking a ****.

 

yeah, ignition like he said, or possible vac. leak. Are your wires arcing?

how do you check if you have a vac leak "?

 

check for lose vac. lines...especially by the intake mani!
