Got sticker residue on my car
I put a sticker on my car and when i took it off, some of the residue/glue stayed on it. And my stupid friend tried to rub it off and made it all black. I was told i could take it off with gasoline or alcohol, but i dont want it to effect the shine. Anyone got any ideas?

They make this eraser thing that you can put on a drill....its like a 4" diameter rubber eraser, we used it on a buddies car when we were de-ricing after he bought it cuz it had 3m double sided tape on holding the side moldings on.

I had some wd40 at my house, so i just sprayed it on a cloth and it took everything right off. But im kind of worried about what one of the posts said about it harming the surface. Does wd40 really harm the surface?...also, i appreciate everyones input and you guyz helped alot.
