1990 Honda Civic std beater car: $500
1990 Honda Civic Hatchback 4spd.
~319k
The Good:
-MPFI conversion from Crx Si; logged 36-40mpg driving 80mph from Boston to Detroit
-Mint Crx Si steering wheel
-Crx Si Wheels with tons of meat left
-Alpine CD Player
-New gas tank, timing belt, water pump, radiator, front ebc pads + misc. other junk
-Runs and drives very well.
The Bad:
-It is an old car with a shitload of miles and shows it
-Needs a new oilpan due to rust; I am lazy and just maintain the level
-Patched up exhaust
-Kinda dirty interior
-No title since it's registered to my house in NH. New Hampshire does not issue titles for vehicles older than 15 years old; transfers are done with the current registration and a bill of sale. (I have it currently registered and can give a bill of sale)
I and a friend have used this car as a daily driver for the last few years; I am moving back to San Diego and no longer need it. It was lately used to commute between Boston and Detroit and never has given me any trouble. It's ugly and loose (heh) but gets the job done. The lucky buyer of this gem will be entitled to (1) beer on me at a local bar; probably Gusoline Alley because I like hole in the wall bars. Thanks for looking.
