****CRX wont fire up ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED*****
I have a 91 CRX si with an LS/vtec in there. This is the first attempt i had at startgin this motor. I had a B16 in there last and it worked just fine.
instead onf making a story about my problem im just going to list what i kno about it
1) my battery is located in the trunk. A 1 gauge wire runs up to the engine bay then splits into 2 8 gauge wires. One goes to the starter and one goes to the fuse box.
2) When i put the key to accessory the fuel pressure gauge reads about 38 psi so i know the fuel pump is pushing fuel up to the motor.
3) Turn the key all the way and the stater turns over
4) I have a spark tester thing that you put inline with your spark plugs and it lights up when spark is present. When turning the engine over it shows that there is spark.
5) It doesnt even make an attempt to try to ignite and run on its own AT ALL. There is no popping or spuddering or anything goin on. Just the starter turning it over n thats it.
Any ideas? could it be bad grounds? could i just be over worked and be over looking something stupid??

The spark tester proves out the plugs. Unless the secondary voltage is finding another strong path to ground. (unlikely)
To OP: I assume you have pulled the plugs to smell if there is fuel in the cylinders? Any codes?
