Got bored today after class, so I decided to have a DIY rim paint today with the nice weather and all.
First off, I got a extra set of rotas layin around, so I figured I change the color. They were Bronze with polished lip. Got them cheap from my friend who just recently bought them. He had them for about a week and decided he didn't like them. He actually ordered full Bronze but somehow jaydm.com mixed up his order. I told him to just return them of course, but he didn't want to go through the hassle. So he took off the new tires off of the slips and slapped them on his Si's. He was sellin them for cheap, so I had to scoop them up. But surprisingly, my gf bought them for me as a surprise. Gotta love her!
Here's how they looked before....

The paint I used....

After putting in the index cards to cover the tires, primer came on....

After drying for about 20 minutes or so, the real color came on.....

They'll soon be on this, possibly by tomorrow to make sure they fully dry.....

Let me know what yall think.

whats up with that primer tho... i've never seen it before. whats the difference between that and regular gray primer? the red **** says sandable on it, but isnt the gray **** sandable too? isnt everything?
