to people that always say search...Easiest well all the engines are easy with a mount kit and wiring... But if you just want basic swap a d in it. Or if you truly have 3k to play with b18a/b or b16 all depends on what you want

HF's aren't the worst to start with. They are the lightest and are MPFI (Multi-Point Fuel Injected) as most Hondas are; meaning less wiring work.
The most difficult CRX to start with would be a STD. (Auto to Manual, DPFI to MPFI) or the DX (DPFI [Dual-Point Fuel Injected] to MPFI)
You'll need to do some FAQ surfing for more motor info. You have LOTS of options.
