How many miles had the car when you bought it; previous owner might have changed it.
Im pretty sure the O2 sensor tends to fail after 100k miles.

So that's why all of my hondas have over 100K miles and still have the facory sensors? They may fail on others at those mileages but not a Honda. It seems like they either go early in life or not at all. Very few in the big picture ever go bad.
