here goes a video on my exhaust. just wondering if its normal to put out that much smoke? running rich, rings.. what?

setup:
jdm gsr
jdm itr header
blox intake manifold
short ram intake
high flow cat
2 1/2 piping
resonator slightly bigger than piping
apex n1 exhaust
kenji chipped p28

 

do a leak down test, but I would supsect rings or valve stem seals or a combo of both.The black smoke is from running rich, but I see a hint of blue also which is oil.

i agree. i think you might be running a bit rich but you look like your buring some oil. does when driving you car does it all the way through the rpm range? or just when you first get on it?

just when i get on it. nothing comes out if i drive normal

i did a compression test and it showed 210-215 all the way accross all cylinders

 

okay if i should get a leak down test where is the best place to get it done at? or better yet who does it?

 

i believe if it was your valve seals it would only smoke breifly when accelerating. im not positive though
