Default 04 4-DOOR ACCORD (4-CYL) EXHAUST. HAS ANYONE DONE IT?

My gf is dead set on an exhaust and I see none of the kits will fit. I am wondering how much welding or bending I need to do. Thanks.

There really isn't a whole lot of improvement to be made on that cars exhaust system. But if your just trying to quiet her down (or make an excuse to use for yourself) throw a fart can on the back of it. Of course there is an exhaust system for it though and i'm sure you would find it if you searched a little.

I was thinking of mating a free flow cat to it and then doing something like that but she hates the cans and frankly it just wouldn't look right on the huge rear end of that car. I need to find an interesting resonator that is elliptical and tuck it up under the rear bumper with a decent tip coming down for it to look right.

I have a full dual exhaust inc. headers and a resonator. Nice performance boost, a bit loud, so I run silencers for everyday convenience.

Do not remove your cat, P_Adams forwarded me a story about a guy changing his cat and having huge problems, the stock one will do fine.

There is no kit, but there are a few people on gen7accord.com who did the v6 Greddy Evo2 exhaust onto their 4cyl.

I got mine custom done at any local exhaust shop. 2.25" piping, ractive mufflers (i would suggest something different).

I suggest a more conservative muffler like Greddy or DC, because mine just doesn't look completely right. They should charge you somewhere around 200 for the piping, maybe more or less, depends on the shop. Don't get too large piping unless you plan for a turbo.

OBX makes fake SP2 mufflers, they're pretty loud though as they're a straight through design.
