i installed a set of eibach sportline springs on my civic and now there is a ton of body noise i.e. creeking and squeeking. is this somthing that aftermarket springs do b/c i had a set of coil-overs on it before and never had this problem. and it seems that the springs a too soft.

 

just grease the rubber under the top hat.

 

its not the springs that make nosies its the body of the car in the back. i have greased the tops and that dose nothing. it's like the car is twisting.

 

well, 10 year old cars just do that then. just figure out where the squeeks are coming from and see if you can fix it.

why its occuring when you install different springs isnt too surprising. changes forces and vibrations that might not have occured before that cause the squeeks.

what "coilovers" did you have before? generic stuff?

 

i bought the car from a guy and he had a set of ebay coilovers on it. but like i said it never did this with stock springs or with the crapy coilovers. thanks for the help.

 

yeah, those ebay coilovers no doubt destroyed the rest of your suspension. really.
