Ok i failed emissions...yay

The problem was that on my dash, the Check Engine Light does not come up so its either a bad bulb or no bulb at all....and since this is an EX cluster into a DX i figured something happened when the swap happened.....so how do i go about looking at this bulb to replace it or see if its even there at all?

Second during emissions the guy said he found a code on the computer system the code was P1337 (all jokes aside...) what does that code mean and how do i go about fixing that too?

Ok i just found the code in the FAQ and it is

P1337 Engine Speed (RPM) Fluctuation Sensor No Signal

How do i fix that along with my bulb?>

For the bulb, youre gonna have to go behind the cluster and see if there is a bulb to begin with. If there is, unhook a sensor that would throw on the check engine light and check and see if the wire going to it has power. If it does, you need a new bulb.

 

well just checked it, and it had no bulb lol so im guessing the previous previous owner tried to hide the check engine light problem from the guy i bought the car from....whatever so i took a bulb out and put one in place for the CE light and it worked....so now im missing one for my signal so i decided to order some more....(i put the signal light back on, sitll missing the CE which should be coming tomorrow)

the cel code though hopefully its not as bad....
