I have a 97 HX and I will be doing a B18B OBDI Turbo Swap very soon. Since the factory harness is for a wideband O2 sensor, will it present any problems when I swap the motor and use a narrowband O2 on the B18? I will be using an OBDI ECU with a OBDIIa-OBDI jumper harness. Thanks.

 

A 4-wire O2 sensor isn't going to plug into a 5-wire WBO2 sensor connector, if that's what you mean. So yeah, it'll be a problem until you fix it by either using another OBD2a harness that uses a 4-wire O2 sensor or by doing some cutting/soldering to your existing harness.

 

So all I would need to do is cut the plug off and put the right one on? Or would I have to run all new wires?
