Default non-altezza aftermarket tail lights and headlights for EF hatch

Where can I find some quality aftermarket tail and head lights? Preferrably with some carbon inlays.. and of course, non-altezza, please

ok all you old school honda heads- seems like you guys are so hardcore you aren't into anything else besides OE lights.

Seriously though, the bland panel style of the original equipment lights were fine for that year and era but.. are in need of of some restyling to keep up with the times. Too bad Honda didn't make more of a selection available eh?

Altezzas are so commonplace and have a glitzy ghetto look. There must be another alternative..

Hmmm... pardon me, I'll try not to jack the thread, but IIRC, an EF is 88-92, correct? What would an 84-87 be? And, are there "quality" aftermarket lights available for them? This reminds me... I was going to attempt an LED conversion in my blinkers, and if that works my tails/marker lights... anyone feel like a write-up on that, or has it already been done and I'm just an idiot?

Your an idiot. No, j/k.
Have you searched?

In some place's EF's were produced in 87 and 92.
But for the majority, it's 88-91.
Hondaswap.com has a listing of all the chassis codes.

I thought the earlier ones were EA?

You may well be correct though.

Back on topic... I have seen some clear red tail lights that in my semi-ricer days I thought were not too ugly. Sort of reminded me of the new RSX tail lights, not Altezza (that trashy clear or carbon mixed with red) but simply just clear red. I really feel that the 90-91 CRX lights (especually EDM) were the classiest of all.

In terms of aftermarket headlights... APC awhile back made actual glass projector headlights for the CRX, there was just recently a post about them. From what I hear they are high quality, great fitment, and are the best way to go if you plan to install HID's which would be great for taking your space ship into the new millenium
