Default Axle question

hey i dont know if you guys can help me w/ this, but ill give it a shot. i just replaced my passenger axles w/ new rebuilt ones. i didnt notice it before, but its making this rubbing/grinding noise kinda like as if the abs is actually rubbing on the teeth of the abs ring on the axles while the wheels are spining -in or out of gear. its sounds like someone's sticking a plastic hanger or something into the blade of a fan while its on. i lifted up the car, and on neutral I manually spun the front passenger wheel -no noise however. i checked everything out to see if everything is intact, and it looks clean. could it be just a shitty axle? please help

Just to make sure I follow: it's only making the noise when the suspension is under load? Then either something is getting moved into a position where it'll rub once your shock compresses...or you have a bad axle. Make sure it's installed correctly, and try again.

i guess the noise occurs when the suspension is under load. but i double checked the brake lines and everything. everything seems to be in place. how can the axle be installed incorrectly if they work? i think its installed correctly...thanks and bump for some more help.

well if your hearing grinding noise then just look for metal to metal contact
around the area where the axle goes into the hub.
if not like said before maybe sumthin with the suspension

Make sure the dust/splash shield for the brakes is not rubbing on the rotor.

thanks for the help guys. i found out that it was my abs. it was slightly grinding on the teeth of abs ring ont he axles -thus causing the sound. putting on the axles must have been the cause. i resetted my abs computer and its all good now.
